Who Can Play?

Youth- Grades 1 -8: (level based on August 31 birthdate)

Anyone who resides in the KM School District

High School- Grades 9-12:

Anyone who attends KM High School or resides in the KM School District and attends a private school without a lacrosse program

KM Lacrosse Season

Our season begins early March and ends mid June

           

Boys Equipment

-      Helmet and mouth guard

-      Shoulder Pad

-      Elbow Pads

-      Gloves

-      Lacrosse Stick (or also known as a Cross)

-      Cleats

 

Girls Equipment

-      Goggle

-      Mouth guard

Is Lacrosse a Contact Sport?

Boy’s lacrosse is a contact sport for U12 – 12th grade

Boy’s lacrosse is not a contact sport for U8- U10 

Girl’s lacrosse is not a contact sport

Where do you practice?
Youth teams practice at Genesee Lake Road Park - averaging 3 practices a week
 
High School teams practice at KM high school- practicing daily
 
Where are the games played?
Youth and high school games are all played at the high school. Games are played either on Vock Field or a grass field.
 

School Sponsored
The Kettle Moraine Lacrosse Club is considered a school-sponsored sport.
Registration and financial transactions go through Community Education.
 
Is Lacrosse a WIAA Sanctioned Sport?
Lacrosse is not yet a WIAA sanctioned sport.
 
Can my athlete earn a letter in lacrosse?
Yes- since KM lacrosse is sponsored by the Kettle Moraine School District/ Community Education.
Varsity players do earn a varsity letter.
 
Coaches
One of our strengths is our coaching staff!  All our coaches are US Lacrosse certified with either Level 1 or Level 2 certification.
 
US Lacrosse
All participants (athletes and coaches) must have US Lacrosse memberships.
 
Board of Directors
Kettle Moraine Lacrosse has an advisory board who governs the club.
